Each die in this set is carved from genuine yellow tiger's eye, a chatoyant quartz prized for its silky "cat's eye" banding. The faces are polished to a warm glassy sheen, and every numeral is cut deep into the stone in a bamboo-stroke script with a gold-tone fill — so the numbers stay sharp and readable through thousands of rolls, with no printed paint to flake away.

Every set is one of a kind

Tiger's eye is a natural stone, so no two dice are identical. Expect gentle differences in banding, depth of color and the position of the chatoyant "eye" — these are marks of a genuine mineral, not defects. Every set is hand-inspected before it leaves our workshop.

Caring for stone dice

• Roll on a padded dice tray or mat — stone on bare glass or hardwood can chip
• Wipe with a soft dry cloth; avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals
• Store in the velvet bag to prevent the faces from rubbing against each other

FAQ

Are the numbers painted on?
No. Each numeral is engraved into the stone and filled with a gold-tone inlay, so it will not flake or fade with use.

Is this real stone?
Yes — natural yellow tiger's eye (a variety of chatoyant quartz), sourced and cut in Foshan, China.

Will it roll fairly?
Each die is cut and polished to consistent dimensions with the tolerances listed above. As with all stone dice, we recommend a dice tray for both fairness and surface protection.
